All of these resources, all of this information, all of this support, all of my love and prayers... all of it is YOURS to enjoy and share! If you can't afford it, ask for a scholarship! If you can afford it, praise God and support us as together we support those who can't.

Thanks for the opportunity to ministry beside you!

PERSONAL NOTE FROM MARNIE

I have been at peace and full of joy (mostly), and the only reason has been that I have been deeply inhaling the air of prayer these past several weeks.

Just as the diver at left needs to breath through his mask in order to stay under water and survive, so we must, as Christian women in ministry, breath the air of prayer if we are to "stay under" until God allows us to "escape from" the pressures of ministry that threaten to suffocate us.

I often talk about being "on the front lines" or being "in the barracks." There is a time for both (in human and spiritual warfare), and seldom does the soldier get to choose when he's where!

Our website system was among the thousands worldwide that were hacked with the .cn virus in early June. It was a newer virus that took three full weeks to firgure out, clean up and move past.

During those weeks, I kept doing my regular work, plus I spent hours and hours and hours uploading "clean" pages trying to stay ahead of the spreading virus while programmers worked feverishly to figure out how to stop it and purge it from the sites. We contract with programmers from other countries (in an effort to keep our prices down), but that means many hours of work in the nights for me -- trying to catch them during their days.

Starting about ten days ago I realized that I was "back in the barracks." I am still putting in a lot of hours between home, the websites, Soulutions, M&K and my other responsibilities, but I've actually had time to sit on my porch for at least an hour most days, chat on the phone with my sisters, moms and daughter, have lunch and prayer times with friends and even read a book, just for fun (imagine that!).

In addition, Dave and I plan to sneak off this coming week for a few days. I am so looking forward to that! Dave found us a little cabin a few hours north of here (I know, hard to imagine ANYTHING being north of here, but there it is!). It's dirt cheap, made of dirt (just kidding--I hope!) and going to be the perfect little "no cell phone/computer" zone for us!

Thank you for your prayers and love. Please know that I love you and pray for you and find it absurdly delightful to think of you just now!

All My Love, Marnie
