Personal Note from Marnie

Yikes! If our hope is in our economy, we are hopeless; if our hope is in a stable lifestyle, we are hopeless; if our hope is in anything other than Jesus, we are hopeless indeed!

As my husband and I lay in bed this morning, discussing the extreme measures we will take as a family to survive the coming storms, I was meditating on one of the songs God gave me a few years back entitled, "I Need You!"

One of the lines says, "You are the hope in this hopeless world! When there's nothing to look forward to, I will focus my mind and my heart onto You. Heaven waits, I'll be there with You soon; let me live every day from that point of view."

It's all about Jesus, gals! The days ahead will most certainly give us incredible opportunities to CHOOSE -- to choose fear or to choose to focus our attention and conversations onto the awesome and mighty power of God!

Determine today to focus on Jesus Christ and to let His light shine through you to a lost and terrified world. Regardless of financial or physical circumstances, we desparately need God in our lives. Be brave, be bold and be ready to sow and reap for eternal rewards!
