4. Personal Note from Marnie

I had this hilarious thought this morning: Instead of saying "How are you?" anymore, I think I'll just cut right to it and say, "So, how is God teaching you to trust Him these days?"

That thought came BEFORE my sister called and told me about her renters, whose boat capsized with them in it during the hurricane, landing two of them in the hospital. It came BEFORE the call to my other sister whose post-surgery results showed some remaining cancer, even after 12 weeks of chemo. It came BEFORE I got word that our dear program coordinator in India, Manoj, has been in an accident resulting in a severe head injury. But it came AFTER my commitment to trust God NO MATTER WHAT, so my shoes of peace are still tied on and I am determined to rejoice in Jesus regardless of the circumstances!
